Residents Invited to Celebrate 119th Natal Day
Wednesday, July 30, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – There’s something for every resident to enjoy when the Bell Aliant Natal Day Festival kick offs this Thursday, July 31, celebrating the 119th Natal Day.
The five-day celebration includes free family events, live concerts, a parade through Halifax and Dartmouth and an elaborate fireworks show launched from the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge on Saturday, Aug. 2. This is the last year for the bridge fireworks until 2017, so don’t miss it!
To accommodate the many citizens attending Natal Day events, Metro Transit is offering free ferry service at its Alderney and Halifax terminals all day on Saturday, Aug. 2, and expanded ferry service on Sunday, Aug. 3.
