Road Closure – Salter Street –HELM Fest

Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Salter Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic on Saturday, Sept. 20, for HELM Fest, Halifax’s first ever live electronic dance music festival.

Starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, Salter Street will shut down east of Lower Water Street to allow crews to set up for the all-day event. The street will remain closed throughout the day and evening, reopening to traffic when the event ends, at about 11:30 p.m.

There will be no parking permitted on that section of Salter Street during the closure.
