Road Closure - Willett Street

Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a block of Willett Street in Halifax will be closed for most of Thursday, Sept. 4, to facilitate the installation of new sidewalk and curbs.

The road will shut down between Main Avenue and Convoy Avenue starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, and will remain closed until about 2 p.m. Construction staff on site will facilitate access for local residents as they’re able but there may be some delays. Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes, if possible.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this closure or the road work may cause.
