Road Construction - South Street

Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that on Thursday, Aug. 28, and Friday, Aug. 29, crews will be installing new sidewalks and curbs on South Street between Queen Street and Barrington Street, as well as at the Barrington Street intersection.

This work will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Lane drops will be in place and there will be stop-and-go traffic while this work is going on. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
