Road Work on Pleasant Street Extending into Afternoon Rush Hour

Friday, March 14, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – Due to unforeseen circumstances, road work on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth that was supposed to wrap up this afternoon will need to extend through the afternoon rush hour.

Contractors are installing a private sewer service on Pleasant Street between Linden Lea and Tupper Street.

Commuters can expect stop-and-go traffic and some delays if travelling in this area this afternoon. Motorists are encouraged to choose an alternative route, if possible.

HRM apologizes for any inconvenience the ongoing work may cause.
