Summer Concert Series is Underway at the Public Gardens

Thursday, June 19, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The summer concert series is back for another year, continuing the tradition of great music and free family fun at the Halifax Public Gardens.

The second concert of the season takes place this Sunday, June 22, featuring the Doris Mason Band. The show gets going at 2 p.m. at the bandstand in the centre of the Gardens.

Free concerts will be held every Sunday this summer until Sept. 14. All events are weather dependent and will take place at the bandstand from 2-4 p.m.

This year’s list of performers includes John Alphonse & the Waterfront Stompers Dixieland Band, the Paul Mason Quartet, the Back Alley Big Band and many more.
