Wastewater Repairs – Almon Street between Gottingen and Isleville Streets

Monday, March 10, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – On Tuesday, March 11, work crews will excavate a portion of Almon Street in order to carry out wastewater repairs between Gottingen and Isleville streets.

Work will begin at approximately 9 a.m. and continue until the job is complete. The repairs are expected to be done in one day, although work may need to continue through the evening rush hour to do so.

The sidewalk and street on Almon will be temporarily paved when the repairs are complete. Permanent concrete and asphalt repairs to the trench will be completed in the spring.

The Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Water apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
