Natural Gas Pipeline Restoration – Chain Lake Drive at Washmill Lake Drive

Friday, June 6, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin on Tuesday, June 10, at the Chain Lake and Washmill Lake Drive intersection so we can investigate settlement issues and complete asphalt restoration related to a natural gas pipeline installation that occurred late in the fall.

The work is expected to take approximately two days. One lane of traffic in each direction is expected to be maintained at all times. Work crews will shut down daily between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
