Nighttime Road Construction – Wright Avenue
Monday, June 23, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – Beginning this evening (June 23) and lasting for the next three weeks (Sunday through Friday morning), Wright Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. between McCurdy and MacDonald avenues.
The road closure is necessary to allow for excavation work related to the installation of water mains and storm sewer pipes, as well as to replace train tracks. Detours will be in place while Wright Avenue is closed.
Motorists can expect delays during this nighttime work and are asked to find alternative routes whenever possible.
During this three-week construction period everything will return to normal during daytime hours.
The Halifax Regional Municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
