Early bird registration for 2014 Volunteer Conference

Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that registration for its annual Volunteer Conference is now open, with special early bird rates for registrations received by Nov. 7, 2014.

The conference will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at the Harbourview Holiday Inn, Dartmouth.

The Volunteer Conference is a celebration of the tremendous contributions of volunteers throughout the municipality. Now in its 14th year, the Volunteer Conference provides residents with an opportunity to participate in training, networking and learning that helps them become more effective in their work and supports strong volunteer capacity in the region.
