Friday, August 1, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that excavation and preparatory work for the addition of a turning lane will take place on Glendale Drive between Pinehill Drive and Chandler Drive will continue from Monday, August 4 until Friday, August 8.
Lane drops will be in place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Also, a reminder to residents that beginning at 7:00 p.m. tonight until 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, August 2, Glendale Drive will be closed between Pinehill and Chandler Drives to accommodate the installation of a new cross culvert.
During the closure, there will no through traffic or access to this stretch of Glendale Drive. Motorists are asked to use alternative routes.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these projects may cause.
