13.3.1 Open Data Council Memorandum of Understanding – Private and Confidential Report
Motion:
That Halifax Regional Council authorize staff to work with the Province of Nova Scotia (PNS), the Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) and the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities (UNSM) to negotiate and develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the creation of the Nova Scotia Open Data Council as described in Attachment 1 of the private and confidential staff report dated January 6, 2015. Council approval of the MOU shall be required prior to its execution by the Municipality.It is further recommended that the private and confidential staff report dated January 6, 2015 be released to the public when the MOU is approved and signed.
