That Halifax Regional Council request a staff report to analyze the agreement with the Province of Nova Scotia Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal regarding snow clearing service outside of the municipal service boundary with options to consider equality of snow clearing service for all residents of HRM.

13.1.1 Citizen Appointments to Boards and Committees – Private and Confidential Report
Motion:
That Halifax Regional Council:
1. Approve appointments to the Board of Police Commissionaires as set out in the discussion section of the February 24, 2015 private and confidential report from the Executive Standing Committee.
2. Release the names of the appointments to the Board of Police Commissioners following Council’s decision and notification of the candidates.
3. Submit nominees to the Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) as set out in the discussion section of the February 24, 2015 private and confidential staff report from the Executive Standing Committee for HIAA’s consideration in filling one (1) position on the Authority.

13.1.2 Citizen Nominations to Halifax Harbour Bridges – Private and Confidential Report
Motion:
That Halifax Regional Council:
1. Adopt the recommendations of the Transportation Standing Committee regarding the Citizen Appointments to the Halifax Bridge Commission as outlined the discussion section of the Transportation Standing Committee report dated February 27, 2015.
2. It is further recommended that the citizen appointments be released to the public following ratification and notification of the successful candidates.
